…much credit goes to people on and off the ice that I’ve met through the game who taught an immigrant kid (with no ties to the sport) that hockey is indeed for everyone.  From growing up a fan of the NHL since the 80’s to a job as student manager of a CCHA team in the 90’s and interviewing Herb Carnegie in his home for a documentary at the turn of this century, there may well be sports projects in the pipeline.  Until then, I serve as a grassroots youth hockey volunteer & 10U selects head coach (CEP Level 2).
